I believe in the potential inside every kid and teen I work with.

  • I work with kids and tweens, from 4-14, who may be experiencing big life changes, anxious thoughts, low self-esteem, trouble sleeping, school challenges, and more.

I also work with parents and caregivers to support them finding joy and ease in their family lives.

  • I spent 13 years working in education as both a teacher and a school counselor, so I am incredibly familiar with the challenges that today’s kids face in the school setting.

I’ve been working in private practice since 2021 and have earned the credentials of Registered Play Therapist through the Association of Play Therapy.

I also have two children of my own, so I understand on a deep level what it’s like to be a parent in today’s fast-pace world.

  • Many of the kids and parents I work with will tell me, “You’re not what I was expecting a therapist to be like.” And they mean it as a compliment!

As a play therapist, (and as a person), I believe in finding the joy and fun in life, and that energy comes out in my work. While we do work on deep issues in the playroom, it’s rare you’ll find me without a warm smile.

I take this same approach in everything I do, from laughing and playing with my 2 daughters, to running races for fun in my spare time. I love new adventures like traveling or learning a new language, and I try to find the silliness and fun in all that life has to offer.
